My name is Joel and I have a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2008). Being a journalist was a dream since I was a child – as a teenager I was already trying the microphone with friends at the local radio station.
My contributions to Protestante Digital began when I graduated 15 years ago and continued while I worked training university students for mission with GBU Spain – IFES (2010-2014).
In 2015, I accepted the invitation to start Evangelical Focus, an exciting project in English for Europe. Working with other Christians on the continent, we connect faith and culture and analyse what is happening in many countries through the lens of the gospel.
I live with my wife Ruth and our two young daughters in Valencia. In our church, Iglesia Evangélica de la Calle Méndez Núñez, I serve as an elder in several areas. I am also part of the Spanish Evangelical Alliance and I identify with other international initiatives such as the European Leadership Forum or the Lausanne Movement.
